  • My journey begins where Stillness meets Motion

From childhood memories to creative transformation, this is the path that shaped my work.

Where the seed was planted

Born in Saudi Arabia to Egyptian parents, I was raised in a home where creativity and craftsmanship were part of daily life. My mother, a visual artist, my father, a man of precision and my grandfather, a furniture craftsmanship, they each shaped how I saw the world.

When I first heard materials speak

I remember running my fingers along carved wooden doors in my grandfather’s home, feeling time etched into texture. I didn’t know it then, but that was the beginning of my relationship with material as memory.

The making of an artist

My formal journey into the arts began at Helwan University in Cairo, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art & Science, focusing on cultural art. There, I laid the foundations for my fascination with symbolism, interdisciplinary practice, and visual storytelling rooted in heritage.

From the classroom to the studio, my path has always blended creation and education. I taught art to children at Le Collège Français, where I founded a student art club and led collaborative workshops. Later, as an Assistant Lecturer at the Arab Academy for Science & Technology, I mentored over a hundred students, curated major academic exhibitions, and learned the power of shaping visual dialogue through mentorship.

At the same time, my freelance journey as an artist and designer allowed me to explore politically and culturally inspired work across Cairo’s galleries. I moved between wood collage, motion design, and visual identity creation, learning through experimentation, collaboration, and community.

Since 2023, now based in the UAE, my practice has grown into a deeper conceptual body rooted in Islamic metaphysics and the wabi-sabi philosophy. I’ve exhibited, created, and collaborated with cultural institutions and ministries, while continuing to study, reflect, and evolve.

For me, art and education are inseparable: one nurtures the hand, the other, the spirit.

Where material speaks to the public

Each exhibition has been a chapter, where my dialogue with material, memory, and meaning takes physical space. From early conceptual experiments in Cairo to recent meditative works in the UAE, these showcases reflect a continual unfolding of ideas.

Whether navigating identity, cultural symbolism, or the metaphysics of stillness, my work invites viewers into a moment of pause, where form becomes reflection.

  • Creative learning through shared experience

Alongside my studio practice, I’ve always believed in the power of art to connect, educate, and transform. Leading workshops and public programs has allowed me to create spaces where creative thinking becomes a shared act and where stories, identities, and materials are explored collectively.

Through hands-on sessions, curated learning environments, and cross-cultural collaborations, I’ve worked with children, students, emerging artists, and broader communities to foster a deeper relationship with art beyond the frame.

  • "An open invitation to co-create meaning"

My practice lives between motion and stillness, where material becomes memory, and form becomes reflection. I am drawn to the quiet power of textures, the way a surface can hold time, or a fragment can carry the weight of history. Rooted in Islamic metaphysics and inspired by the imperfection of wabi-sabi, my work is a search for presence: not in noise, but in nuance.

Whether I’m working with wood, pigment, or plaster, my process is intuitive guided by emotion, repetition, and the unseen. I treat art as a meditative act, a dialogue between tradition and transformation. Through this, I explore identity, belonging, and the shifting nature of cultural inheritance.

I believe that art is not only to be viewed, it is to be felt, shared, and held. As an educator, collaborator, and creative thinker, I remain committed to building spaces that allow others to engage, reflect, and co-create.

If my work resonates with you, whether as a fellow artist, curator, institution, or collector, I welcome the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue this journey together.
